Subterranean Press are giving away Kage Baker's novelette called Speed, Speed the Cable (PDF file). It's a 24-page short novel and I really like the way that it's presented. I think the background image and the font are spot on for the genre.Speed, Speed the Cable is a sneak peak at the world that Kage Baker's created in The Women of Nell Gywynne's, which is a historical fantasy/steampunk novel.
